The FutureWEDGE™ 2400 electric vehicle barrier is a modular single buttress, bolt-down barrier system, designed to accommodate a diverse number of traffic scenarios, typically in parking garages, at car rental sites or for campus access points requiring crash rated security at an affordable price. The FutureWEDGE™ 2400 has a plate height of 24 inches in the fully armed position and can stop and immobilize a 5,000 lb vehicle traveling @ 40 mph. or up to 10,000 lbs. @ 30 mph commonly referred to as a K2/PU40 crash rating. Single entrances up to 16 feet in width can be secured with the 2400 series. This model is standard with LED stop/go lights and can be supplied with a fully integrated gate arm assembly and features simple “plug and activate” installation.
